WANGGO Gummitechnik has been a research partner of the AC2T research institute in Wiener Neustadt for several years.
In several projects with the tribology experts from AC2T and voestalpine, a wide variety of products have been tested and further developed in close cooperation with the manufacturers. Together with Sempertrans, for example, an optimised belt with a service life improvement of +25% was developed for use at voestalpine. The use of the scraper systems is also constantly optimised and adjusted and monitored, e.g. by means of thermal imaging cameras.
